NFS or Network File System is one of the oldest network file systems. It has been used on Unix computers for years and if very fast and reliable. You can expose the file system on your VortexBox using NFS and it can be mounted by other Linux boxes on your network. This is good for backing up file to a NAS or access your files from a small remote player.
